All-Natural and Homemade!
The following homemade hair conditioners are made from items you'll find in your kitchen. No chemicals are needed to deep condition your hair with these recipes. Make a fresh batch each time you condition your hair with these luxurious hair treats. Use these conditioning packs once a week unless your hair is extremely dry. Twice a week is fine for dry hair. After rinsing your hair, you may find that your hair is a little oily. You may wish to shampoo your hair after conditioning. If you do, just shampoo the roots only, then rinse the shampoo throughout your hair. This will take care of any oiliness without stripping the natural hair conditioner's effects.

Coconut Oil and Avocado Deep Hair Conditioner
Heat a tablespoon of coconut oil, just until it melts and feels warm to the touch. Mash an avocado well and mix well with the coconut oil. Apply to the hair and place a shower cap on your head. Leave the mixture on your hair for 15 minutes. Rinse well. If your hair is still a little oily, you may need to shampoo the roots only, with a gentle shampoo following treatment. If you don't need to go out, you can just wait till the next day, then shampoo your hair as usual. This recipe is best used for very dry hair.

Honey-Yogurt Conditioner
This is an easy and nourishing conditioner that's great if you don't really want to add extra oil to your hair. This recipe is best for those that have oily hair. Use an all-natural plain yogurt. Place 2 tablespoons of yogurt in a small bowl. Drizzle 2 teaspoons of honey into the yogurt, and mix together until the mixture is well blended. Apply to hair and let set for 10 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water.

Olive Oil-Banana Treatment
Here's a great use for those over-ripe bananas you've been meaning to toss in the trash. Mash one half of an over-ripe banana in a small bowl. Add two teaspoons of olive oil and mix well. Now mix a teaspoon of regular mayonnaise into the mixture. Apply this mixture to hair and wait at least 10 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. This recipe is great if you have really dry hair. It will impart lots of shine to your hair.

Coconut-Papaya Hair Drench
For this moisturizing hair treatment, mash one fresh papaya and add 1/2 cup of coconut milk. Add 2 teaspoons of honey and 2 teaspoons jojoba oil, olive oil, or coconut oil. Mix all ingredients well and apply to the hair. Rinse well with warm water after 15 minutes. If your hair is not dry, leave out the oil. The papaya, honey, and coconut milk mixture is nourishing and shine enhancing on its own.
